  21. your post carefully enough, or simply misunderstood it for a 
  22. second.  All these people waving their language's flag like it
  23. was their national banner tends to get me a bit jumpy :) ...

  28.   From lectures, it would seem that answer is a no, but I don't think
  29. most people when they say C/C++ are insinuating that they're the
  30. same language (I don't, at least) ... I mean, for instance,
  31. I say that on occasion, and I love c coding, but really would rather
  32. not code in C++ ... its just something that i've never really
  33. gotten into. (of course, I've not done any 'Real World large programming')
  34. either - If I thought they were the same language, It would stand
  35. to reason that i'd enjoy or dislike both, eh? :)

  38. Anyhow, perhaps the reason C/C++ started is due to all these DOS
  39. C++ compilers out there which have every Tom, Dick, and Harry
  40. "wannabe windows" programmer writing c code, using // for comments,
  41. and think they have C++ programs ;)  </Humour mode>
